01Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of the website of House of Style Vip Barber Shop INC (“House of Style,” “we,” “us”) and the services we provide at 2785 Cruse Rd NW, Suite #7, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30044.

By booking an appointment, visiting the shop or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or book with us. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.

02Our services

We provide men's and children's haircuts, beard design, shaving, eyebrow design, braids and hair coloring. Service descriptions on our website are a guide, not a guarantee of a specific outcome. Your barber will discuss what is achievable for your hair type and face shape during the consultation.

03Appointments

You can book online, on WhatsApp or in person. A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation from us; a time shown as available on the website is not reserved until then.

Please arrive on time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your service or rebook you, so that clients after you are not delayed.

We will do our best to give you the barber you requested. If that barber becomes unavailable through illness or an emergency, we will offer you another barber or another time.

04Cancellations & no-shows

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time, at no charge. We ask only that you give us as much notice as you reasonably can, ideally at least 24 hours, so we can offer the time to someone else.

We do not currently charge cancellation or no-show fees, and we do not take deposits. If that changes, we will update these terms and make the charge clear to you before you book — we will never apply a fee you were not told about in advance.

Repeated no-shows may mean we ask you to call the shop to book, rather than booking online.

05Walk-ins

Walk-ins are welcome and are taken in order of arrival, subject to barber availability. We cannot guarantee a wait time, a specific barber or that a particular service can be completed before closing. Booking ahead is the only way to secure a time.

06Pricing & payment

Haircuts start at $35. Final pricing depends on the service, its length and complexity, and is confirmed with you in the shop before we begin. Prices may change without notice; the price quoted to you at the time of service is the price that applies.

Payment is due at the end of your appointment. We accept several payment methods in the shop, including major cards and Apple Pay.

Refunds. Because our services are performed in person and cannot be returned, we do not offer refunds on completed services. If you are unhappy with your cut, tell us within 7 days and we will do our best to put it right, normally with a complimentary adjustment by your barber.

07Minors

We welcome children of all ages, from their first haircut. A parent or legal guardian must book the appointment, consent to the service, and must remain in the shop for the duration of the appointment where the child is under 16. Only a parent or guardian may authorise a chemical service, such as coloring, for a minor.

08Health, allergies & results

Tell us before we start. You are responsible for telling your barber about any allergy, skin condition, scalp sensitivity, recent chemical treatment or medical condition that could affect your service. We cannot be held responsible for a reaction we were not told about.

Coloring. Chemical services carry inherent risks. A patch test may be required before we proceed, and we may decline a service we judge unsafe or unachievable on your hair. Results vary with your hair's natural colour, texture, condition and history, and a specific shade cannot be guaranteed.

Straight razor services. Shaves and line-ups use a straight razor. Minor irritation or nicks are a normal, if uncommon, risk of the service.

09Conduct & refusal of service

We keep a relaxed, family-friendly shop, and everyone in it — clients and staff — deserves respect. We reserve the right to refuse or stop a service, without refund, where a person is abusive, threatening, harassing, intoxicated, or behaves in a way that puts the safety or comfort of others at risk.

We may also decline a service where we believe we cannot deliver a good result, or where proceeding would risk your hair or skin. This right is exercised on conduct and safety grounds alone, and never on the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, disability or any other protected characteristic.

10Photography

We are proud of our work and often share it on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. We will always ask before photographing or filming you, and you are free to say no — it will not affect your service in any way.

If you agree, you grant us permission to use those images to promote the shop, across our website, social media and advertising, without payment. You can withdraw that permission at any time by contacting us, and we will remove the images from anywhere we control. For a client under 18, only a parent or guardian can give this permission.

11Use of this website

You may use this website to learn about us, book an appointment and get in touch. You may not use it to make false or fraudulent bookings, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or copy it systematically, or for any unlawful purpose.

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and availability shown in the booking calendar may change between the moment you view it and the moment you book.

12Intellectual property

The name House of Style Vip Barber Shop, our logo, and the text, photographs, design and code of this website belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our written permission.

13Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Our services are provided with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, our website and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to your use of this website or any service we provide is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Personal belongings. Please keep your belongings with you. We are not responsible for items lost, damaged or left behind in the shop.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and you and we each consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and the version in force when you book is the one that applies to that booking. Continuing to use the site or book with us after a change means you accept the updated terms.
